Recognising the need to create greater synergies between university labs and real world businesses, every research project undertaken by ISLI\'s postgraduate students provides an academic challenge built around a commercially relevant problem.
Projects cover a wide range of application areas including communications technologies, imaging, home networking, automotive control, optoelectronics, speech processing, broadcast television and GPS. Core technologies covered deal with novel architectures, reconfigurable cores, mixed-signal optimisation and power optimisation.
